Traditional
like most kids, i've been doodling and sketching since i could pick up a pencil- in preschool, i was obsessed with drawing giraffes. throughout grade and middle school i kept to the standard drawings in the margins of math homework, but since obtaining a drawing tablet, i've mostly moved towards doing solely digital art with only special exceptions like figure practice and traditional art gifts. i've dabbled in watercolor, oil pastel, acrylic, calligraphy, and embroidery along with typical graphite, but i'm by no means a professional at any of them.
Digital - 15-16 | 17-18 | 19-20
i first picked up a digital drawing tablet in late 2012, an old intuos that was quite literally falling apart. i was smitten, and obtained my intuos pen & touch and (definitely legally) downloaded SAI soon after, both of which i still use, even though i'm far overdue for an update in both respects. i have commissions to thank for the rapid improvement in my first few years of focused drawing, and i continue to open up for orders in the summers when i'm not in school. although my growth has more or less flatlined in recent years, i attempt to continue to challenge myself on occasion, and i'm pretty alright with where i've ended up for the most part.
